Rainy Night Haiku

Rain rustling on leaves
the whole night a constant sound
my bed soft and warm.

Blue sky white speckled
the first flocks of birds forming
on days sudden short.

Red, yellow and brown
spots on hills in shades of green
in crystal clear air.
